One of our most important animal warfare principles is that animals should be cared for in ways that minimize fear, pain, stress, and suffering. Sometimes, we have to perform procedures with your pet under anesthesia (e.g., dentistry, surgery, and some diagnostic imaging). Anesthesia is a controlled state of unconsciousness, where we meticulously control your pet's consciousness level so they don't feel pain and don't move. We certainly do not want your pets to feel pain whenever possible, and sometimes they mustn't move because we require the utmost precision during imaging procedures, during which movement could lead to complications. Using the most up-to-date anesthesia techniques, we aim to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes during these procedures. Completing the skills we leverage when alleviating pain with anesthesia, we also use multi-modal pain control therapy to ease your pets' post-surgical recovery and manage chronic pain conditions
